Static Dialogues is a pair of twin but distinct sculptures, born from the same geometric matrix but developed in plastic and compositional autonomy. Giorgio Amelio Roccamonte, an Italian artist known for his poetics of the fragment and the evoked figure, works here with essential forms and taut lines, translating the concept of relationship into a formal language that is dry yet deeply expressive. The figures, stylized to the brink of abstraction, emerge from cubic bases as enigmatic presences: modern totems that retain a human semblance only in the allusion to posture or gesture.

The burnt effect on the bases and the chromatic irregularities of the surface suggest a story, an experience, a past that has settled into the material.
